Touchpad randomly pinch zooming when scrolling on ThinkPad P1 Gen3

Summary

When attempting to use two-finger scroll on the touchpad it often results in pinch zooming instead.

Steps to reproduce

Replay the attached recording with your mouse pointer placed over a webpage, or try to use two-finger scroll on something zoomable.
