Asus TP200S Touchpad still enabled in tablet mode
Summary
I use the Asus TP200S computer, which can wrap it's keyboard 360° behind the screen to enter tablet mode. In this mode, the keyboard is disabled, but not the touchpad. It would be nice if both devices were disabled in tablet mode.
Steps to reproduce
- Wrap the keyboard behind the screen
- Use the touchpad
Required information
- libinput version: 1.18.900
- hardware information:
-
libinput record
output: do not paste, attach the file libinput_record.txt -
libinput debug-events --verbose
output: do not paste, attach the file libinput_debug.txt
In the record, I selected the lid, but I can provide the output for other devices if needed.
In the debug, I simply moved the keyboard to enable the tablet mode, then moved it back in to go back to standart pc mode. Then pressed CTRL+C.
I am using KDE Neon Unstable Edition, which ships libinput 1.15.5, but I compiled the 1.18.900 from source for the report. I could reproduce the issue with both versions.
