ThinkPad T14s(AMD) Gen1 trackpoint quirk
Summary
I'd like to propose to quirk for Lenovo ThinkPad T14s(AMD) Gen1 trackpoint. It use Union Memory (Shenzhen) ETPS/2 Elantech TrackPoint. I feels it is too slow, and I've tried to change a multipier attribute.
Here is my /etc/libinput/local-overrides.quirks
[Trackpoint Override]
MatchUdevType=pointingstick
MatchName=*ETPS/2 Elantech TrackPoint*
MatchDMIModalias=dmi:*svnLENOVO:*:pvrThinkPadT14sGen1*
AttrTrackpointMultiplier=1.75
then libinput quirks list /dev/input/event6
reports
AttrTrackpointMultiplier=1.75
A device ETPS/2 Elantech Trackpoint is used on several thinkpad devices, so it is potentially a same situation for these devices such as X13(AMD)Gen1, T480s
If other thinkpad users feels the same, please post your device information.
Steps to reproduce
I've used Mint Linux 20.1 on Lenovo ThinkPad T14s(AMD) Gen1. Use a kernel from ubuntu-kernel teams' development kernel-ppa version.
