Incorrect behavior regarding stylus with eraser button

Summary

  1. Touch pen to surface
  2. Press eraser button
  3. Release eraser button (Still touching the surface)
  4. Lift Pen out of the detection area

Steps to reproduce

  1. Run Wayland
  2. Run the attatched record.yml on an gtk window (gnome-terminal works well)
  3. The application crashes like described here

1.12.6

Hardware information:

HP Envy x360 15-bq102ng HP Stylus

It is an Elan touchscreen/stylus digitizer
