In particular the purpose of these docs and scripts is to enable
development without depending on having the full CrOS SDK setup.
Try to make that more clear.

General improvements:
  - getopts for parsing cmdline
  - default boot command line
  - more error handling
  - split into functions for readability

And mktemp for temp files.

The Chromebook needs to be in developer mode, and you'll need vbutil
plus the EFI bootstrap file, but otherwise this should allow you to run
a stock upstream kernel on your device if the necessary device support
is available.
