Fix build of autotools projects needing macros from build-tools · 71cc88cc
      Andoni Morales Alastruey authored
In Windows, the bootstrap used to build all the autotools and now it's
using the ones from the msys installation. During the autogen phase,
GTK+ requires the pkg-config macros that are installed in the
build-tools prefix. Since we use the msys autotools, the macros in
/share/aclocal are no longer in the default search paths. This patch
makes sure that the m4 macros installed by a build tool can be used.

      Nicolas Dufresne authored
This plugin has no external dependency and provide an implementation of RIST
simple profile protocol. RIST is derived from RTP, it provides a simple
receiver/transmitter elements that implement restransmission and more frequent
RTCP feedback, making it suitable for internet streaming.

      bootstrap: Fix cross-windows bootstrap with --system-only · cc89e5a7
      Nirbheek Chauhan authored
When we're bootstrapping on Linux for cross-windows, we don't want
"Windows" as a system bootstrapper. So we shouldn't be looping over
all the system bootstrappers. We should just pick the one that matches
the build distro. Same for the toolchain, because there can only be
at most one that matches the target distro.

cerbero: Support XCode Python 3 on macOS Big Sur · 883d7e3f
      Nirbheek Chauhan authored
python.org's official Python 3 release does not work on Big Sur, so
the only option at present is to use the Python 3 that ships with
XCode. Unfortunately, that doesn't ship with python3-config right now
so you need to build with `-v nogi`.

XCode's Python 3 defaults to a framework path for sysconfig purelib:
/Library/Python/3.8/site-packages but setuptools still uses the posix
path: /lib/python3.8/site-packages. This also means we'd have
inconsistent paths based on your macOS version.

The second issue is that on Windows the purelib path is
\Lib\site-packages which is not version-specific but it *is* the
default for setuptools, so let's consistently add both.
