4k/60 DP Monitor on Lenovo Ultra Dock Recognized Twice
When I boot my Thinkpad attached to the Lenovo Ultra Dock (40A20135XX), my screen is being recognized as DP2-1
and DP2-2
.
Initially, it runs on 1920x1080/60 and when I set to 4k using
> $ xrandr --output eDP1 --off --output DP2-1 --mode 3840x2160 --rate 60 --dpi 144 --set "Broadcast RGB" "Full" --primary --output DP2-2 --off --verbose
crtc 0: disable
crtc 1: 3840x2160 60.00 +0+0 "DP2-1"
it fails with the screen staying black. The other way around
xrandr --output eDP1 --off --output DP2-2 --mode 3840x2160 --rate 60 --dpi 144 --set "Broadcast RGB" "Full" --primary --output DP2-1 --off
works but not setting the other --off
results in a desktop limited to the upper left:
