GPU HANG: ecode 7:1:2fffffff
There was a GPU hang during playing video in Opera. dmesg
contains the following lines:
[ 1021.943402] i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] GPU HANG: ecode 7:1:2fffffff, in opera [7624]
[ 1021.943405] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including userspace.
[ 1021.943405] Please file a _new_ bug report at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/intel/issues/new.
[ 1021.943406] Please see https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/intel/-/wikis/How-to-file-i915-bugs for details.
[ 1021.943406] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right component if it's not a kernel issue.
[ 1021.943407] The GPU crash dump is required to analyze GPU hangs, so please always attach it.

The problem is not reproducible. While the problem appeared, video (not DRM protected) was played in one window (not tab) of Opera on the second workspace, and I surfed the web in another window on the first workspace.

Additionally, I see "blinking rectangles" sometimes. This means that a widget hides without reason, and then gets visible again. If the uptime is bigger, the number of blinking rectangles increases. If I use software which uses 3D acceleration, the number of blinking rectangles increases too.
The used desktop environment is KDE Plasma. But I think that is not a problem because I see "blinking rectangles" even in login screen.
Process with number 7624 was the Opera tab than was active at the moment of hang. This is not a tab where video was played.
I will attach screenshots of "blinking rectangles" later because it is too hard to catch them.
