Instant reboot at start of the Cinnamon DE

This happens every time when I launch cinnamon-session through dm or manually from xterm. The computer immediately reboots without displaying any errors or saving any logs. I am able to use other DEs, including gnome-shell, watch video and play OpenGL games (tested with gzdoom). Cinnamon devs consider this a driver bug.

OS:

Linux (ALTLinux Sisyphus), x86_64

Kernel 5.4.81

Hardware:

Intel UHD 630 9bc5 (i915)

motheboard: MSI MEG z490i Unify

CPU: Intel i7 10700

I also found these records in .xsession-errors:

libva error: /usr/lib64/dri/i965_drv_video.so init failed [3571:3571:1206/135917.074113:ERROR:vaapi_wrapper.cc(541)] vaInitialize failed: unknown libva error [3571:3571:1206/135917.076827:ERROR:sandbox_linux.cc(374)] InitializeSandbox() called with multiple threads in process gpu-process.

Most likely they are from some video player and I do not know, if they are related to the instant reboots.

/sys/class/drm/card0/error after the reboot contains "no error state collected"
