Constant *ERROR* Failed to disable qgv points (-6)
Using drm-tip 9ae23ae1b437ee0d75ed2153eca05ecbd8c417bd, it was observed there are constant messages like:
[ 173.855341] i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] *ERROR* Failed to disable qgv points (-6)
Messages like that are repeating around six times per second. They are happening only if both notebook and external screen are enabled.
Steps to reproduce:
- Have notebook's screen on;
- Connect external monitor.
Once both are connected, the messages start to appear. It is irrelevant if the screens are mirrored or not or if the resolution is reduced (both screens support up to 1366x768). If notebook's lid is closed or the external monitor is disconnect, the messages stop appearing.
On #dri-devel IRC, it was stated this is related to 20f505f2253106f695ba6fa0a415159145a8fb2a.
