Failed to initialize PMU

I got a strange problem if I run the command 'intel_gpu_top' on a 4570k, 6600k, 10700k I get the message "Failed to initialize PMU! (No such file or directory)":

If I run the command on a Intel J1900, 9900, 10400, 10600 (all without "k") intel_gpu_top starts just fine and runs without a problem.

I'm on Slackware 14.2 (all installs are the same and are not different).

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
