Desktop Effects fails on Fedora 11

Output of the dmesg command

Fedora 11 "Desktop Effects" fails and logs me out. Chatted with MostAwesomeDude and glisse on irc.freenode.net:#radeon. Attachments are: output of dmesg; contents of /var/log/Xorg.0.log; output of lspci. Note: per suggestion of MostAwesomeDude I'm using kernel parameter nomodeset. Otherwise I was getting the error from compiz-check: "Software rasterization in use".
