AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U - random boot crashes after upgrade to 6.3.9

i am using arch linux with gnome 44.2 and kernel 6.3.8.arch1-1.

My system: ThinkPad P14s Gen 2a CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U with Radeon Graphics (16) @ 1.900GH GPU: AMD ATI Radeon Vega Series / Radeon Vega Mobile Series

At 6.3.8.arch1-1 i Everything worked fine. After upgrading my arch to 6.3.9.arch1-1 my system randomly crashes. Downgrading to kernel 6.3.8.arch1-1 helped. Everything works fine. There are dirfferent crashes i found:

  • sometimes it is possible to login and system crashes then.
  • sometimes system crashes on boot and nothing helps. neither the sysreq reboot key. so i have no log here because of the hard reset.

I think the same problem is described here: kernel-6.3.9-200.fc38 Intel laptops work fine. AMD not. So i think i am at the right place.
