Driver 21.40.1 causes Steam to render incorrectly

Setup:

  • Distro: Pop!Os 21.04
  • GPU: AMD 6800 XT
  • Driver: AMD Proprietary 21.40.1
  • Steam: Latest (As of Nov 25 2021)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install AMD driver with --usecase=workstation flag
  2. Open Steam

All other programs on my system are working as expected. Some require the proprietary drivers to function correctly (SideFX Houdini, Substance Designer, ...). However, using the latest proprietary drivers with Steam and any game that relies on Steam's Proton will render incorrectly.
