amdgpu fails to resume with `amdgpu_device_ip_resume failed (-6)`
Brief summary of the problem:
As the title says, amdgpu fails to resume with amdgpu_device_ip_resume failed (-6)
upon leaving hardware suspend on my Lenove ideapad Y700-15ACZ laptop, leaving the screen blank but with working backlight and the system otherwise being responsive.

- Type of Display Connection: eDP
- HDMI also available, but plugging in an external monitor does not affect this issue at all (all screens stay dark after resume)

How to reproduce the issue:
- Boot the system using any 5.13 or newer Linux kernel
- Suspend the system (i.e.:
systemctl suspend
from console) - Resume the system as usual
- The backlight comes on, but the screen stays black – the system may be rebooted by (blindly) typing
reboot
into the previous console, so it’s otherwise fully responsive after the resume
