DisplayPort over USB-C stops working after s0ix resume and port change (Asus ZenBook UM425iA, 4500U)
I have recently got an USB-C-to-DisplayPort cable for work and decided to test it with my private laptop (Asus ZenBook UM425IA equipped with Ryzen 5 4500u). Right after boot, both USB-C sockets work without issues. After resume from s0ix, however, I can only get DP output from the same socket I used right before suspend. If I try the other one, there is no signal and the following gets recorded to dmesg:
[ 159.910430] [drm] DP Alt mode state on HPD: 0
[ 160.111952] [drm] Alt mode has timed out after 201 ms
Full log is attached. What makes it worse, is that using the previously working socket does not work either, it throws the same errors. How can I investigate this further in order to provide more information? Thanks.
ETA: I can restore the DP output by suspending and then resuming with the cable plugged in. It will still stop working once I disconnect and try to connect again.
