How can I update https://www.cairographics.org/cairomm/?

https://www.cairographics.org/documentation/ says

Currently the cairo website can only be edited via git. You can get the sources by running

git clone git://cairographics.org/git/cairo-www

To submit changes, please send patches to cairo@cairographics.org.

Since several years, it doesn't work. I submitted MR !3 (merged) two years ago. My changes to the website have not shown up yet. According to a comment from Uli Schlachter (!3 (comment 1297746)) there is not much hope that it will work in the near future.

How can I update https://www.cairographics.org/cairomm/? Preferably without changing the html files directly.

If possible, the information how to update the website should be updated on the website.
