Use no-href <a>s when sensible
When you hover your mouse over an <a>
has href="#"
, it causes a tooltip to appear in the bottom left of your browser: file:///home/florrie/Documents/sapphire-frontend/index.html#
. This is an annoying message and does not convey any information. Therefore when we use <a>
s for buttons, we should not set href
; to get the same behavior we're looking for from <a>
s, do tabindex="0"
and set cursor: pointer
.
Should be fixed at the same time as #23.
Does it make sense to use <a>
s at all if they don't actually represent links, BTW? Or should we just be using <span>
s and <div>
s? I believe the same tabindex/cursor CSS could be applied to come to the same effect.
