Accessing an arbitrary database via database=file://<path to file> broke when EDS removed support for such URIs. Reimplement that using the newer APIs in EDS 3.2 or 3.4.
Could be used to synchronize an arbitrary iCalendar 2.0 file, also useful for testing.
