nmcli shows only current wifi connection until wifi is brought down
Sometimes after a reboot I find that if I ssh into my machine and issue:
nmcli dev wifi
It will only report connection information for the wifi connection that I have setup to auto-connect. No other access points will be listed.
I thought perhaps I needed to use sudo
so I re-issued:
sudo nmcli dev wifi
Still the same results.
However, if I bring the connection down:
sudo nmcli con down id <Conn Name>
And then re-scan, it all works as expected.
I can even bring the connection back up, and re-scan and it still works fine:
sudo nmcli con up id <Conn Name>
This doesn't happen all the time, maybe 1 out of every 5 reboots.
Can anyone think of a reason why this might be and perhaps a work-around?
If there is any extra information I can provide please let me know.
