Encrypted PKCS12 files are detected as unencrypted
I cannot register via 802.1-TLS, as when I encrypt my .key.pem file into a .p12 container, NM always tells me that this file is unencrypted and I thus cannot click “continue” in NM-GUI of Fedora 28 (should be 1.10.10). In contrast, when I specify the unencrypted file, NM accepts it, but asks me all the time for a password.
Furthermore everytime I start up NM with those settings, I get 5-7(!) warnings, that I specified an unencrypted key file…?!
And it’s totally annoying not being able to use an unencrypted key files, as I still can do that via command line. And if I need an encrypted key file, I place the file with a password directly next to it – chmod 600 also protects that for me, so I don’t see any benefit. Please just display a warning instead of forcing users to encrypt that file (at least when the file is something different than chmod 600), this should be sufficient.
