bonded interface fails on fresh boot

Hello to all -

I recently updated my network with a switch which can do 2.5 & 10GbE - and I purchased a 4 Port Intel based 2.5GbE NIC card from QNap for my main Mageia (Cauldron) based PC. I prefer NetworkManager - So I follow the Wiki: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Switching_to_networkmanager and set up NM

Then I setup a Bond0 device linking two of the four NICs as slaves using 802.3ad link aggregation - It seems to work well, except when I start up into KDE for the first time after boot - sometimes the Bond0 comes up with both slaves - but NO internet connectivity - I then need to manually disconnect each slave and reconnect and suddenly it works properly

This is pain to do this every boot - is there something I can do to delay the network start (I think there is a timing conflict during start-up)

If I continue to have this issue, I might just break down and get a 10GbE card for the PC and take out the 4x2.5GbE Card . . . eliminate the complexity of bonding nics.

Any hints would be welcome - I can also add a Bug ticket to Bugzilla - although I know that this type of complicated configuration is not typical for a desktop user and therefore rarely used (multiple nic teaming for a desktop config)

Cheers, R.Fox
