Stored VPN password overwritten without prompt (usability bug)
When connecting to a password-protected VPN, on authentication error, network manager opens a prompt to re-enter password. The prompt is pre-populated with the old password from gnome-keyring. The old password is highlighted and focus jumps to prompt, so any keypress overwrites the old password. If the password is changed in any way:
- Ctrl-Z doesn't work
- Clicking OK overwrites password in gnome-keyring
- Clicking Cancel overwrites password in gnome-keyring
So this prompt has the password highlighted and steals focus, begging for random overwrites, and literally every button overwrites it to gnome-keyring with no going back.
I suggest that Cancel button should not overwrite the old password in gnome-keyring, and OK button should ask for confirmation before overwriting the keyring.
