Wifi connection slower in networkmanager 1.26 compared to 1.22
Affected version
I am using Pop OS 20.10, with networkmanager 1.26
Bug summary
When waking either of my two networkmanager 1.26 machines from suspend, it takes 10-15 seconds to connect to wifi. Previously, in networkmanager 1.22 on Pop OS 20.04, it took 3-5 seconds after waking from suspend to connect to wifi. In addition, I have a third machine still running Ubuntu 20.04 and networkmanager 1.22 that still connects in the expected 3-5 second timeframe.
Steps to reproduce
- Suspend machine with networkmanager 1.26
- Wake
- Time how long it takes to connect to wifi
What happened
Actual behavior- wifi connection established in 10-15 seconds of wake
What did you expect to happen
Expected behaviour- wifi connects in 3-5 seconds of wake
